A unique location
The villa neighbourhood Vroondaal Hofstedepark is part of Vroondaal North. It is the one area in Vroondaal with individual villa’s designed by architects within an architectural guideline. At the westside of Vroondaal lies the Westmade park with of a number of individual villa’s and furthermore the district developments of De Heren van Vroondaal, de Dames van Vroondaal, Sandt and Park Waranda.
South of the Madepolderweg are the other two areas of Vroondaal, Vroondaal South and Vroonvaart.
The neighbourhood has an unique location as it is close to the sea and beach of Kijkduin and yet only twenty minutes by car or bicycle to the historical city centre of The Hague. There you can find leisure and cultural experiences, with its many museums, theatres, shops and restaurants.
Close by Vroondaal Hofstedepark there is plenty opportunity for sports activities. Sports enthusiasts can find facilities in Madestein park, Ockenburgh park and in the Uithof. An overview of websites can be found under the tab Activity.
An active residents association
The residents association consists of members, a board and a number of committees. The goal of the association is to represent its members and their wide ranging interests.
A majority of the residents are members of the association. The diversity of the residents of Vroondaal Hofstedepark enables the association to play a crucial role in the internal communication as well as communication towards third parties. Together we create a safe, pleasant and lasting environment, where we feel at home.
The board keeps close contact with organisations that are involved in the housing estate Vroondaal Hofstedepark, such as the Vroondaal Aesthetics committee and with (traffic) safety. The board initiates various activities for all members like an informal summer party, music evenings, lectures and activities for the children.
The board holds an Annual General Meeting for all members (Algemene Ledenvergadering ALV). Minutes of the meetings of the board and the general meeting as well as other documents used for communications with involved organisations can be found via the link Leden Login.
What does the board do?
The board meets once every six weeks. The topics discussed you can find via the page Leden Login.
At the Annual General Meeting, the year report is presented and the topics for the next period are agreed.
Attending the Annual General Meeting is a great opportunity for residents to meet each other. Another event where our residents can meet is at the informal summer party.
