Important visitors
Prior to the event, parents could apply for Sinterklaas to visit their home, and during, they could follow his route throughout the neighbourhood on their phones. Children were singing at every corner. The children were waiting in their gardens in anticipation, while singing and jumping with joy to greet the visitors.
Sinterklaas, informed by his helpers, knew all of their names and talked to all of the children, while the helpers were treating them with loads of sweets, sponsored by the BVVH. It was a great start to Sinterklaas 2020.
