Invitation municipality residents meeting April 12, 2022
All residents of Vroondaal have received an invitation from the municipality for a residents' meeting. The municipality wants to speak with residents about the creation of an umbrella residents organization and about 'problems' and 'solutions'.
The invitation from the municipality mentions two topics that we would like to inform our members about.
1. Formation of the umbrella residents' organisation
The municipality has contacted our association and some residents of the other two sub-areas; Vroondaal Westmadepark and Vroondaal aan het Park about the creation of a District Council for Vroondaal, as desired by the municipality.
2. Problems and Solutions
The board suspects that agenda item 5 was prompted by the discussion about installing bollards between Vroondaal Hofstedepark and Vroondaal Westmadepark.
The board will of course attend this meeting and speak on behalf of our members. In support of this, we would appreciate it if residents of Vroondaal Hofstedepark also attend this meeting.
In preparation and for information, the board has posted a message about both topics on the members login page.
The municipality will therefore make a decision around April 18, after which an objection procedure can be started.
Some residents of Vroondaal Westmadepark are now discussing 'the cut'. They experience the use of the Oorberlaan access road as a detour. That is why the municipality organized a residents' meeting on 12 April (agenda item 5 of the letter from the municipality).
Arguments of the board of Vroondaal Hofstedepark why 'de Knip' should be implemented.
1. Concerns the implementation of that which is laid down in the zoning plan.
2. Residents on Nederhoflaan and Vroonhoevelaan and users of the Vroonhoevelaan/Madesteinweg intersection experience increasing traffic nuisance on a daily basis.
3. Residents along Madesteinweg are experiencing increasing noise nuisance from traffic on Madesteinweg.
4. Every resident who bought a house or a lot after 2014 could and has taken into account the cut in the bestemmingsplan Madestein-Vroondaal 2014.
