Raise the new flag with us

On April 26 at 5 p.m., we would like to hoist the new flag at the beginning of our neighborhood together with you while enjoying drinks and snacks. Drinks and snacks will be provided, but be sure to bring your own drinks.A football tournament for young people is planned for April 27 from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. Please register at events@vroondaalhofstedepark.nl, stating your name and age.

There will also be the traditional dress market at the playground in Nederhoflaan on April 27 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Meeting of BVVH members,
On March 20th we will hold our annual General Members Meeting (ALV). This time the location of the meeting will be De Golfclub Ockenburg. Registration starts at 7:45 PM and the meeting starts at 8:00 PM. Afterwards, the board and committees will raise a glass with you and toast to a new and, above all, a joyful year in which many activities are planned.

The municipality of Westland made a zoning plan amendment available for inspection on December 22, 2023 regarding the expansion of the ABC site De Strijp Poeldijk (the auction).

This expansion will increase traffic on the surrounding roads towards the A4 by approximately 1,800 truck movements per day, excluding 750 additional commuting movements of people (migrant workers) who work at the auction.

We want to submit a view before February 1, 2024 and call on Vroondalers to also submit a view. We will create a sample letter that everyone can use as soon as possible.

After a very successful dance performance by the Dutch don't dance division in the Stenen Kamer on May 26, it is now time to book July 7 in your agenda for our annual table dinner.

The events committee will set the tables for you again so that you can share your made goodies with table mates. We hope for just as large a turnout as last year where neighbors can get to know each other (even) better.

March 30 at 20.00 we organize at HDS, Madesteinweg 20, the annual ALV followed by a pleasant spring drink. The board and the committees will update you on all developments around Hofstedepark over the past year and look forward to our activities for 2023 with you. We will post the 2022 annual report, the 2023 budget and the agenda for this GMM on the website behind the members login.

Approximately 70 Hofstedeparkers were present at a very successful ALV evening on 19 January. The evening was intended to get the amended statute approved. There were not enough members present before the statute change. That is why we are organizing an extra ALV on February 9th. (See Member Login)

In the week of November 14, members of the residents' association Vroondaal-Hofstedepark will be handing out flyers and ready-over-overs every day in the morning from 07:30 to 08:30 at the beginning of the neighborhood to kindly point out to motorists that the speeds of 30 and 15 km per hour must be respected in and around the neighbourhoods. With this action they hope to ask for understanding for general road safety.

Dear children and parents,

On November 11, we will walk a lantern procession along all the houses of Vroondaal Hofstedepark with a lantern that we brought ourselves.

We will gather at 18.00 at the bridge at the entrance to the district/ De Vroonhof 2. Place the poster that has been delivered in front of your window or door and the children will ring the bell.
