Neighborhood tour
Together with some board members of the residents' association and a number of residents,
Janice Roopram and her team from ‘Hart voor Den Haag’ walked through the neighborhood on June 4 last to see the situation regarding building permit-free, the traffic situation, the planting of trees and so on.
Following an initial exploratory conversation between the board of the residents' association and councilor Janice Roopram van Hart for The Hague / De Mos group on March 2, 2021, it was decided to hold a neighborhood review. This took place on June 4. A number of issues were discussed: road safety, non-enforcement of the rules for building without permits, public green spaces, construction plans on the Parnassia site and the associated plans for the construction of a connecting bridge and the nuisance caused by construction activities. In the meantime, Councilor Janice Roopram has put questions to the chairman of the Hague City Council, in accordance with Article 30 of the Rules of Procedure.
She has also managed to bring the issues that are going on in Vroondaal-Hofstedepark to the attention of the editors of De Telegraaf. Appears on July 13, 2021, an article by journalist Tanja Verkaik will appear in this newspaper. Tanja Verkaik visited us and, in addition to the interviews she conducted with various residents and board members, she was also able to view the traffic situation at the intersection at the beginning of our neighborhood and some construction activities related to permit-free construction.
