Building permit-free

Rulesbuildingpermitfree.jpeg

The board regularly receives questions about permit-free construction and neighborly law (Civil Code) when building on the border. That is why she has placed a brochure on permit-free construction from the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment under the heading 'important links' on the Member Login. We have also included a brochure on property and plot separations from the Ministry of the Interior.

The rules for permit-free construction apply to the entire country. Unfortunately, it is not always clear how the rules should be interpreted. 'Permit-free but not regulation-free' (see link building permit-free in the Member Login) Building permit-free must be reported to the municipality. The Building Decree and neighbor law from the Civil Code also apply to building without a permit.

The board is very concerned about the lack of clarity of rules and poor enforcement by the municipality during construction.
